Korvin is a Legendary Gallente commander. This template is used by NPC fleets and cannot be recruited.

In YC110, during a military exercise between the Federation and the Republic in the Skarkon system, Captain Korvin Lears met Colonel Yana Varakova, who also served in the Federation. On their return journey to Federation territory, they unexpectedly encountered the escort fleet of the Minmatar Elder Fleet. Coffin narrowly escaped but witnessed Yana's ship being destroyed.

Later, Korvin became a member of the Federation delegation that attended a peace summit in the Malkalen system. During the summit, Korvin experienced his first "death" as a Capsuleer. However, due to his outstanding performance in the chaotic situation, he was awarded the Wing of Valor medal, recognizing his "exceptional achievements under extreme adversity."

Upon his rebirth, Korvin realized that the era of peace was about to become a thing of the past. While patrolling the border system of Algogille, he witnessed the historic moment when the Caldari State fleet invaded and seized Luminaire (the Caldari Prime).

Mastery Rating

The Mastery Rating is how well the commander leads each fleet type (Fleet Proficiency). In battle the rating for the fleet's type scales the fleet's attributes: A+ 120%, A 100%, B 85%, C 70%, D 50%.

Formation Mastery

Encirclement 5%, Assault 5%. When the fleet this commander leads uses one of these formations, its attributes get the bonus shown. Other formations give no bonus.

Skills

A commander has three Talent Bars. Each tree holds a main skill (up to level 15) and a sub skill (up to level 7). Talent Bars 2 and 3 each offer two trees, and you can only select one talent from the same Talent Bar. Talent Bars 2 and 3 must be unlocked first.
